First doctor's appointment is scheduled!

So my first doctor's appointment is next Wednesday July 1st and I am so excited! Even though it's just a nurse consult it makes things seem more real. Jesse and I decided that I will be delivering at Baptist Hospital in Nashville. A very good friend of mine is delivering there in early August. It also helps knowing that more babies are delivered at Baptist Hospital than any other hospital in Nashville. My doctor is Dr. Lisa Morgan and I am so excited to meet her and ask all kinds of questions! I won't actually meet her until my second appointment though so I am hoping after my first visit I won't have to wait too long for my second. We have only told our close family members and a few of my close friends and co-workers that we are expecting. We want to wait just a bit longer before we share our wonderful news with everyone else.

We're having a baby!

So Father's Day 2009 (June 21st) was a day Jesse and I will never forget. I woke up around 5ish and decided I would test just for the heck of it. I actually did not even wait to see the results of the test because I was still very sleepy so I just went back to bed. Fast forward to 6:15ish. I went to check the test and I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me so I called my sis. She immediately told me to test again with a better test (I was using internet cheapies and planned on saving my good ones when I got a definite line) So with her on the phone with me I tested with an Answer test and lo and behold I *thought* I saw the *faintest* of *FAINT* lines so sis was like "take a pic and send it to me now..lol! So I did and she immediately called me back and said.."YOU'RE SO PREGNANT"I could not believe she could see it over text message cause I barely could see the line in real life! I decided to hold my pee for several hours and test again with the God of pee sticks First Response. Sure enough there were 2 beautiful PINK lines! I was so THRILLED. I guess then it really sank in that this is it. I really am pregnant! After 6 months of trying it was soooooo surreal to see 2 lines when I was so used to only seeing 1! I decided to video me telling Jesse so we would always have the special memory. It was so cute and I am so happy I decided to video it! We are due March 4th and could not be any happier!
